A Storm of Light, “Nations to Flames” Southern Lord

I wasn’t entirely convinced by this record, can’t help but feel A Storm of Light are followers not leaders in their field that doesn’t mean Nations to Flames is a bad record, far from it, the band have honed their songcraft and taken on interesting subject matter but it can sound underwhelming and over familiar from time-to-time.

Conan, The Black Heart – Camden, 5th October 2013

A damn good show this despite Slabdragger’s untimely cancellation. If Conan were a footballer they would undoubtedly be “top, top”.
